| Personal History | Brendon was born on Earth, where his parents were vacationing. His parents both came from very wealthy families and spent a lot of time traveling the universe. Brendon's mother home schooled their children as she had a teaching degree. Their education was very important to their parents. Brendon experience the cultures of many planets and as he grew older he knew he wanted to be a teacher. He spoke many languages and excelled through his studies. Often times, he would help his siblings with their homework and it gave him a sense of satisfaction to see them doing well. By the time he graduated, he made the decision to get his degree and become a teacher. After graduation he taught for five years on his homeworld. But Brendan began to feel unsettled, there was something more he wanted to do but he wasn't certain what. It was by chance that he heard that Starfleet was looking for teachers. Brendan applied and heard back quickly, being offered a job on the USS Folsom. He served there for six years and at it's decommission he was assigned to the USS Johannsen. It was while serving there that Brendan became friends with the ships cook. He started taking lessons and found a passion for cooking. When the ships Chef left, Brendan took over. He served there until he was offered a position on the USS Pioneer. |
